Have you seen the video that shows a man getting struck TWICE by lightning? Supposedly, he intended to rob a couple that had just walked by him. Whether or not that is true, people like to believe it. We like the idea of karma when justice is being served.

Did you ever wonder who administers karma? That one would have to be all-knowing, all-powerful, and fully desiring that justice be met. There is only one.

... when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,
2 Thessalonians 1:7-9

Don’t Laugh It Off!

Please, don’t laugh this off! It’s no joke! Look, we like the idea of karma but only because we think it doesn’t apply to us. Karma isn’t real, at least not in the sense that the Hindus and Buddhists claim. There is a God, only one, and that God is keenly intent on passing judgment for all those who refuse to believe. No one is excluded.

Hell is real and lasts forever. You will not ever be able to escape it. Furthermore, you will not enjoy it. You will be in agony. Forever and ever.

Nobody likes to think about this, including me.

Change Your Ways, Son!

You have hope, my friend. Change your ways. Turn from your sin and believe in Jesus. Without faith no one will be saved. But don’t fool yourself. Faith must be genuine. There are no liars in heaven.

Indeed, you can trust and believe that God will have mercy if you humble yourself and seek him. I’m not talking about your version of a god; I’m talking about the one, true, and living God. There is only one.

who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.
1 Timothy 2:4-6

The proper time is today. As in now. Seek him with all your heart.

Choose wisely.
